It is worth mentioning that the sending of various statements, letters, and telegrams by these great scholars, especially during the period of the Minor Despotism (1326-1327 AH), served as a protest against the absolute authoritarian rule of the Qajar family, as well as against foreign loans, the worsening economic situation, the use of violence and cruelty against the peasants, and their defense of the Constitution and the National Assembly. These actions were among the important factors in spreading public participation in the Constitutional movement and in shaking the foundations of the Qajar government. Based on this, the purpose of this article is to examine the role of the correspondences of the scholars of Najaf in the Iranian Constitutional movement and answer the following two questions: <span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-bidi; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-bidi; mso-bidi-theme-font: major-bidi;">1.Did the correspondences of these scholars of Najaf have an impact on the course of the revolution's developments? <span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-bidi; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-bidi; mso-bidi-theme-font: major-bidi;">2.What were the most important criticisms these great scholars raised in their letters to the religious faction opposing the Constitution? <span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-bidi; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-bidi; mso-bidi-theme-font: major-bidi;">3.What was the interaction and relationship between the Najaf scholars and the people who wanted to establish the law, led by Ayatollah Sheikh Fazlullah Nouri? علمای مشروطهخواه در نجف اشرف سهم قابل توجهی در روند توسعه انقلاب مشروطه ایران داشته‌اند، بهطوری که نمی‌توان نقش برجسته آن‌ها را در مراحل مختلف این انقلاب سرنوشت‌ساز در تاریخ ایران نادیده گرفت. ارسال بیانیه‌ها، نامه‌ها و تلگراف‌های مختلف از سوی این علمای بزرگ، بهویژه در دوران استبداد صغیر (۱۳۲۶-۱۳۲۷ ق) بهعنوان اعتراضی علیه حکومت استبدادی مطلقه خاندان قاجاریه، و نیز علیه وام‌های خارجی، وضعیت اقتصادی رو به وخامت، استفاده از خشونت و قساوت علیه رعایا و همچنین دفاع از مشروطه و مجلس ملی،ازعوامل مهم در گسترش مشارکت مردم ایران در روند حرکت مشروطه و تزلزل پایه‌های حکومت قاجاریه بود. بر این اساس، این مقاله قصد دارد تا نقش مکاتبات علمای نجف اشرف در حرکت مشروطه ایران را بررسی کرده و به سه سئوال زیر پاسخ دهد: 1. آیا مکاتبات این علمای نجف اشرف تاثیری در روند تحولات این انقلاب داشته است؟ 2 . مهم‌ترین انتقاداتی که این علمای بزرگ در نامه‌های خود مطرح کردند، چه بود؟ 3. تعامل و ارتباط علمای نجف با مشروعهخواهانه و در رأس آنان با آیتالله شیخ فضلالله نوری چگونه بود؟
